In 1999 the George Evans Amateur All Age Award was established.
Evans had been tireless in his
efforts to forward the competition of English Setters in all age dog
trials. A trophy is awarded.
All regional championships plus
amateur or open stakes that are listed in the Field as an
Invitational Points trial. The AFTCA rules say any AFTCA
club may offer one trial per year as an Invitational points trial
in Shooting Dog and in Amateur All Age. It must be one hour in
length. The only way we know
that a trial is an Invitational Points trial is to read the ad.
It will vary from year to year. |
